A Trip to the Park

Today's blog is about taking a trip to the park. You might be asking, "Why are you venturing outside... to a park... on a day where it is supposed to reach 104 degrees?" Well, we love to go with friends to anything, anywhere! We went early in the morning to avoid the heat, but it still got HOT FAST! I think I was sweating by 9:00 am. Good times.

Lucas had a great time. He got to hang out with his Cousin Morgan and his friends: Seth, Ben and Parker. We went to this really neat park up on the west side of town. It is an adaptive park so Morgan could use her wheelchair and have fun on all of the playground. It was a nice park. I wish there was one closer to home. It was quite the trek, but totally worth it. We had a nice time playing, talking and eating breakfast together! This summer break is adding up to all kinds of adventures. I can't wait to see what the rest of the summer brings.
