Day 3 of San Diego - Seaport Village, basketball & Mission Beach

We are in the last leg of our San Diego trip. We head back for Tucson tomorrow. It has been a great time. We have enjoyed everything and can't wait to do it all again. Not too soon though. I am tired and ready for my own house, bed, comforts...

Todays day was busy, but fun. Here is today's timeline.

10:00 am - Went to Seaport Village in downtown San Diego. We shopped and walked around.
Lucas in front of the harbor.
Again, sound asleep.
Aunt Lori, Morgan, Aunt Shawna and Lucas on a stroll in the village.
The village is so beautiful and relaxing.
12:30 pm- Went to Matt's basketball game. Lucas also got to meet his Great Aunt Ginny and Uncle Larry. They are Matt's Aunt and Uncle from Nebraska. They are here because the U of A plays Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl. It was nice to see them and we will get to see them soon because they are headed to Tucson in a couple of weeks. Hopefully Lucas will be in a better mood during that time because he was a little cranky during the game.
The basketball team.
Lucas with his Great Uncle Larry.
Lucas with his Great Aunt Ginny.
3:30 pm - Went to Mission Beach with the basketball team. We walked around the boardwalk and beach. We took some family photos at the ocean. My nieces had a great time playing in the waves.
Our little family.
The cousins. Piper, Rylie & Lucas.
The Aunts. Aunt Donna, me, Lucas & Aunt Shawna.
Grandpa & Grandma Fildes with Lucas.
The whole family!

The nasty rat that was floating in the ocean.
I couldn't pass taking the picture and putting it on the blog.
It was just too funny and gross.
6:30 pm - Ended the night with In and Out hamburgers. Delicious.

Now we are packing and getting everything rounded up. We leave at 9 tomorrow morning. I am going to need a vacation from my vacation.
