3 Weeks Old!

Macie no longer looks like a newborn. She is really start to fill out and is looking more like a little baby. It is hard to believe that she is almost a whole month old. Makes me a little sad. I am looking forward to her getting a little older so she will sleep for longer periods of time during the night. Macie has a very sweet demeanor. She loves to be cuddled by anyone. She could spend her whole day being held and snuggled. I could snuggle her all day, too.

Lucas is really starting to take a lot of interest in her. He loves to check on her and if she is crying he will go to her and say, "Macie ok?" It is the cutest thing in the world. You can tell he really cares about her. Makes my heart fill very full! I love my little family.

3 Week Stats:
Weight: 7 pounds & 4 ounces

Length: 19 inches

Macie's Top 10 Moments of Week 3:

1. Great Grandma got to hold Macie for the first time since her heart attack. Great Grandma has been working hard with the PT so that she could hold Macie!

 2. Macie got her first real bath since her umbilical cord fell out. Still not a fan of bath time.

3. We are working hard on getting a good sleep schedule going. Macie has been sleeping anywhere from 2-4 hours at a time during the night. Sleep is very important for everyone in the house. Especially now since Matt has gone back to work. He really needs his rest.

4. Macie has developed a little case of the "Heat Miser" hair, just like her Big Brother!

Macie's Heat Miser hair.
Lucas' Heat Miser hair. His was a little more extreme!

5. Finally, one of Macie's aunts came to visit. Yay for Aunt Shawna! The had the best time cuddling!

6. We took a few snapshots to work on her announcements. You have to love the Big Brother and Little Sister outfits! They are too cute together.

She is going to be a little ball player... Whether she wants to or not.
Her Big Brother will force it upon her.

7. Macie rolled over for the first time this week... Followed by several times later in the week. Of course, I missed the first four times because I was putting Lucas to bed each time. But finally, I got to see her roll over the other night. Also, Matt was so kind to video tape it while I was upstairs with Lucas.

.

8. We went out to breakfast with Grandma & Grandpa Fildes and Aunt Shawna. She was a good little girl the whole time. One of these days she will get to enjoy the yummy breakfast food.

9. Macie went for her first trip to the park for a picnic and to let her brother run around. Of course, we picked the windiest day to do this so she was not a HUGE fan.

10. Maybe this isn't a Top 10 moment for Macie... But I am wearing my regular clothes! YAY! I think it is because I have been busy chasing my little man and trying to keep up with little Miss Macie!
