2 Weeks!

It is hard to believe that our little girl is 2 weeks old already. Time is flying by... Except at nights. She really is a sweet little girl and very mild mannered. We will see how long that lasts... She does have a Big Brother that she will need to "hold her own" against. She is a fairly good sleeper. She gets up about 3 times (every 3 hours) to eat at night. I really can't complain. Although, I am looking forward for Macie to sleep for about 4 hours in between nightly feedings. But she does sleep until 8:30 or 9 in the morning before she is awake and ready to play.

Macie's Top 10 Moments of Week 2:

2 Week Stats:

Weight: 7 pounds even (she gained 12 ounces in 12 days since the day she was born).

Length: 19 inches.

1. Macie got to play in her "jungle" for the first time. I am not sure if Luke or Macie enjoyed it the most.

2. She got to ride in her little swing while I got ready. She fell asleep while I used the hair dryer. Glad to know that she can sleep through loud noises.

3. Macie got to meet her Grandpa Fildes for the first time. Grandpa is just in LOVE with her.

4. She had her first bath. She was not a fan!

5. Macie's umbilical cord fell off... Which then led to her first real bath. Again, not a fan of that either.

6. She spent her first evening, along with her brother without Mommy and Daddy. Matt and I got to go on a date! So Grandma and Grandpa Fildes were in charge. They did a great job!

7. Macie also made her first of many to come, trips to Tar.get. She got a few new outfits. 

8. Macie got to go on a girl's day. We went shopping, just us girls! She was a trooper. She actually slept the whole time... Except for a quick stop at Ba.by's r Us for a feeding.

9. Macie had a couple of doctor appointments this week. The first was her weight check which she was passed her birth weight and a little more.  

10. The second was her second genetic testing. She slept while getting the heat pack on her foot, but she DID NOT sleep through the poke. She turned bright purple and cried. Poor thing.
