1 Week Old!

Macie is a week old already! It is really hard to believe it. The time has flown by. She is just the most precious little girl. The love that we have for her and her brother is so unconditional. She has made our family complete!

Macie's Top 10 Moments of Week 1:

1 Week Stats:
Weight: 6 pounds 9 ounces (she gained 5 ounces in 2 days since we left the hospital).

Length: 19 inches (this makes me think that her hospital measurements might not have been too accurate).

1. Macie got to meet her Big Brother Lucas. He loves her a lot, but at a 2-year old love level.

The best way to entertain a Big Brother, is to have a basketball hoop in the hospital room. Thank you Uncle David and Aunt Lori.
 2. Macie got to go home on Sunday. Only 48 hours after being born. We were really excited to go home, but a little nervous about what was in store. Now we have 2 children to take care of. WE CAN DO IT!
This is her little going home outfit.
Again, thank you Uncle David and Aunt Lori.
She was not a fan of being dressed.
But she looks so cute.
One excited Daddy to take his little girl home.

Macie went for her first car ride. We brought her home in the Honda. The decision was made because we brought Lucas home in a Honda, so we drove her home in a Honda. It is tradition.

She looks so little in her carseat!

3. She got to see her home for the first time and meet her other Big Brother, Husker.
Lucas was so happy to see her at his house.

4. Macie met her Cousin, Morgan.
Morgan was just in love with her. She wanted to hold her the whole time.
I can't wait for Morgan's sister to join in the fun in May.

5. She went for her first ride in the swing. Lucas thought this was too funny.

A little jealous about Macie being in the swing, so he sat in the boppy.
Too funny!

Such a great Big Brother!

6. Macie went for her first doctor's appointment. She was such a great little girl for the doctor.

 7. She got to meet one of my best friends, BJ. It is so nice to have friends come over and meet our little girl.
 8. Macie "saw" her first snowfall. Hard to believe that it snowed on Valentine's Day in Tucson.
9. One of the best moments of the week, is that Macie got to meet her Great Grandparents on Matt's side. How special is it that she gets to have Great Grandparents in her life. Very rare!

10. I took my kids out for our first outing. We went to the grocery store and I got a Starbucks. Well deserved.
We took the double stroller for a ride.
Lucas thought it was too cool to ride right next to her sister.

We are very lucky to have a little girl. Matt and I couldn't be happier to be home. It has been an adjustment for sure. Definitely different trying to manage 2. I think it is going to take awhile to get into a routine, but each day gets a little easier. The best part is, our family is complete!
