Big Brother Moments!

I can't tell you how proud I am of Lucas! He has become a really great Big Brother. Of course, there are times when he could care less that he has a little sister. But he has really taken an interest in Macie. As my mom says, "He is a Mister with a Sister." Here are some of his notable moments as a Big Brother and other cute moments.

I was trying to take a picture of Lucas with Macie, but Lucas wanted to take a picture of himself.

One of Lucas' highlights of the hospital was to play with the bed.

He would go up! He would go down!

He would go up! He would go down!

Also, notice the basketball in his hand.

 Here is the Big Brother giving Macie a bottle.

He is so helpful.

Just as he is so "helpful" when it comes to changing her diaper.

He takes ALL of the diapers out of the holder... You know just in case sister needs more than one or 50. 

 One of the sweetest moments that he had this week, was doing tummy time with Macie.

He laid next to her and looked at her.

It was the most precious moments!

 Who would have known that a 2-year old would love the tummy time mat so much. 

He thinks that it is his own personal playground.

Other notable moments...

We were eating dinner the other night and Lucas had a french fry. He looked over at Macie and offered, "French fry!" We did have to remind him that Macie is only allowed to have milk for her food.

Then today, Macie had her second genetic testing. Lucas tagged along. While Macie was getting her foot pricked and started crying, he looked over at her with a sympathetic look in his eyes. Also, there was a little bit of a sneaky eye as well, noting that he was happy that he wasn't the one getting poked.
