It was Matt's turn to get up with Lucas so when Matt when in to get Lucas from his crib, Matt told me I might want to get up as well. We had heard the rain all night long, but little did we know... This is what we woke up to this morning! Isn't it gorgeous. Totally worth getting up on my day to sleep in. Lucas wasn't quite sure why we were so excited about the white stuff all over the ground. He was running straight for his new basketball hoop, but he was forced into his coat and shoes and swept outside. Once he got out there and got to run in the snow and touch it, he was grinning from ear to ear. We had a snowball fight, threw snow into the pool (only in Arizona), and made a mini snowman on top of the hot tub. Lucas had a blast in the snow!
