16 Months!

Lucas is now 16 months old. Wow! How time flies. He is such a sweetheart and so silly. There isn't a day that goes by, where we don't have a good laugh. We really couldn't be more blessed. Here is the rundown of this months highlights!

Here are his 16 month old stats:

weight: 26 pounds and 2 ounces

length: 32 1/2 inches (and growing)

size clothes: 24 months or 2T

foot size: 7

teeth: 18

Favorite things to do...

He loves to play hoops! He can play that for hours.
Take Husker for a walk.
Ride his tricycle.
Going up and DOWN the stairs all of the time. It is a great workout.

Least favorite things to do...

Not being able to get into things (cupboards). They are all locked up.
Does not like to be told what to do. He thinks he is Mr. Independent.

Favorite Tricks...

Walking backwards.
Sees a dog on t.v. and says "woof."
Loves to give hugs, especially to his Daddy.
Is a fan of waving at you, even if you aren't leaving the room.

Favorite Foods...

French fries. Yes, I am THAT mom.
Doughnuts
Pizza
Graham crackers
String cheese
Green beans and mashed potatoes. (See, I do feed him some healthy food.)

We had a nice Valentine's Day as well.
One night we watched Morgan so that David and Lori could go out.
The next night, they watched Lucas so that we could go out.
It is nice to have great friends and that the children get along so well... Most of the time.

That is right... we are putting the children to work.
I need to get Lucas trained for his future wife.

Then my parents came into town last week.
They had a blast watching Lucas.
One of their favorite things to do is to take him to McDonald's for pancakes.
They are such great Grandparents. They even let Lucas have syrup on his pancakes.
