The Things We Do To Our Kids

So I know we all do this. We take pictures of our kids that we shouldn't, but are just too funny to pass up. The other night we were at a basketball game all the way up at Mountain View. Since it is such a long drive home, we decided that we would put Lucas in his pajamas so we could just put him right to bed. So after the game we were ready to change him. We did it in the back of my parents' CRV.

Now you might be asking why we decided to do it in the back of the car and not at the bathroom at the school. Well... there are no changing tables at high schools. I get it... we don't want to encourage teen moms, but it is so hard changing a baby on the floor of a bathroom. Trying to keep their little hands from touching the floor, while changing the diaper and getting pants back on can be quite the feat. All while trying to get up off the floor, fold the changing pad, holding a baby and throwing away the diaper. Just try to imagine. Not a pretty picture.

So... that brings us back to me changing Lucas into his pajamas in the back of the car. It was fairly cold out that night. Maybe 50 degrees by then. I know that isn't cold to most of you, but for us here in the AZ it is pretty cool. Especially to a little baby who is naked in the back of a car. Check out these pictures.
