Tonight was an exciting night! We got to hear the heartbeat for the first time! My friend who is about 18 weeks pregnant rented a heartbeat doppler. She said that if Matt and I wanted to hear the heartbeat we could borrow it. So tonight we borrowed it and heard it for the first time. It sounds like the chug of a train. Very strong and beating away! It was the coolest sound in the world. We feel very lucky to get to hear it! I will hear it again when I go to my next appointment in a 2 weeks. What a wonderful night!
