Our final day of family fun. The trip was so wonderful so it made us a little sad that we only had one more day of experiences. Lucas was such a trooper through the first day and a little tired from all of the stimulus, but man you would have never guessed that he was tired. Literally it was the "Happiest Place on Earth." You never know. You see children crying and throwing fits so you just expect that there might be a couple. But we didn't have a single tantrum the whole time.
We started with the morning with a little pit stop in Downtown Disney. We wanted to visit the HUGE Disney store to get the kids their Mickey & Minnie Ears as well as a coffee for Mommy! While we were looking at them, Lucas spotted Mickey ears that looked like a football. Oh yes. I put my foot down and we didn't get those. Not happening. We were going to get the traditional Mickey ears. Sorry little sport fan! He did enjoy the ears that he got.

Macie enjoyed her Minnie Ears as well... Well she enjoyed eating them!

Eventually she will grow into them! But still just as cute!
After we got our Mickey & Minnie ears we were off to Disneyland again. We decided to start the morning here this time. Again, another traditional picture in front of the Mickey garden. This time the kids are sporting their ears!
We decided we were going to go on as many rides as we could since it was our last day and man did we complete that goal. I think we were able to go on most of the rides we knew Lucas would enjoy. The best part was we really didn't have to wait long in lines. I think the most we waited the whole day was 30 minutes. Although, most of them we were able to walk right on. So nice!
Lucas and Matt on the Jungle Boat ride.
You can tell he is just taking in every moment!
Even little Miss Macie was taking in the sights of the jungle animals.
We took Lucas on the Pirates ride. We were a little hesitant because it is very dark and there are a couple of quick drops at the beginning. But he enjoyed it a lot and was singing the pirate song. Plus, Matt did a great job of distracting him and keeping him excited about looking for Captain Jack! Macie enjoyed the ride as well. Her head was swiveling from side-to-side checking out everything. I think she was looking for Johnny Depp. Can you blame her?
Of course we have to have a Disneyland churro.
Lucas & Mommy on Dumbo! He enjoyed moving him up and down. He thought it was so fun!
Going on the Tea Cups! Luckily for Mom and Dad he wasn't able to make it spin fast.
After going on several rides and taking a short break at the hotel to rest, we made our way back to the park. We wanted to watch the parade and meet a few more characters. Lucas had so much fun seeing all of his favorite characters from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We have been singing the theme song for months!
Lucas thought it was so funny that Goofy signed his autograph book on his head!
He said, "Goofy silly!"
Then he met Pluto! Every picture was super adorable!
Finally the grand finale! The big cheese! The meeting of Mickey Mouse! Lucas enjoyed exploring Mickey's house and checking out everything. But as we were waiting in the movie room waiting to see Mickey, Lucas kept saying, "My turn!"Luckily we didn't have to wait very long.
He walked right in and gave Mickey the biggest hug! I have to admit I may have teared up a little bit!
They look like best buds!
The family with Mickey Mouse! Again, Macie enjoyed seeing Mickey as well.
After a little rest and some dinner we made our way to California Adventure to finish out the trip. We went on Lucas' favorite two rides: Pop, Pop, Pop (Toy Story Mania) and the carousel.
Also, Matt took Lucas back to the Towmater Tractor ride. As they were waiting in line Matt interviewed Lucas about the ride. It was seriously one of the cutest interviews!
Cars Land all lit up at night! It really looks just like Radiator Springs from the movie!
All good things must come to an end. So sad. We really had a great time and it was worth every penny. I think we got as many smiles and laughs in dollars that we spent. It really was Priceless!!!
Lucas passed out in the stroller all cuddled up with his Disneyland football!
