Fraleigh Family Fun!

A couple of weeks ago (yes, I am that far behind on blogging), the Fraleighs came to town from South Carolina. It has been a long time coming. I know they were dying to see the kids and the kids were dying to see them. Well, Lucas was dying to see Noah (Nonah) and Abby! He has the best time with them. Luckily they would be here for two weeks so that Lucas could get plenty of cousin time... And Macie, too. 

Here are some highlights from the two weeks:

* There was time spent in the swimming pool! Lots! Even Macie joined in on the swimming fun.

 The kids had a blast squirting each other with water shooters and having races in the pool. 

Although, I think Uncle Wayne and Matt had the most fun preparing for their trip to the Olympics in 4 years. 

You would have thought they were competing against Michael Phelps the way they were racing against each other and Abby. 

 * There was quality cousin time spent where Lucas could show his i.Pad skills. Look how cute they are together. I love that they get along so greatly!

* Of course there was the previewing of the "Electrical Light Parade." This was Noah's way of introducing Lucas to the wonderful things that Disneyland has to offer for our upcoming trip in October.

* Again more swimming. I think we went swimming almost every day while they were here.

* We went and played mini golf on "Grandpa's Golf Course."

Always in the sand trap... On purpose. He thinks it is funny to hit out of the sand.

* They took a trip to the zoo on Lucas' day off from preschool. Unfortunately Mom and Dad still had to work that day for a teacher inservice.

* We celebrated Grandpa Johnson's retirement and Great Grandma's 90th birthday!

* Lucas had a lot of fun with Abby. They had a great time dancing together. 

* Lucas had a date with Aunt Kim to McD's. She spoiled him rotten with a Happy Meal and a chocolate shake. Lucky guy!

* We went to the Gaslight Theater. Lucas had so much fun and did great for his first show, especially since it was the 8:30 show, too. He took a couple of breaks, but he watched the majority of the show and had a great time dancing to the songs and drinking his chocolate shake. 

It was a very busy two weeks while they were here with a lot of adventures. Almost every night we spent either at Matt's parents' house or they were at our house. The best part is that all of the cousins got to spend a lot of time together building lasting memories. Lucas still talks about them and the fun that he had with them.
