18 Months!

Lucas is now 18 months old. That means my little baby is a year and a half old. That just seems impossible. I feel like it was just the other day we were finding out we were expecting and then bringing him home. Every day is a new adventure with Lucas. He is really into being Mr. Independent and thinks he can do what he likes... That is until he becomes Mr. Dangerous. Which then leads into Mr. Tantrum. It is funny to see how he tries to test boundaries and learn things for himself. For instance, Mom and Dad really do not want rocks thrown in the house... Which then means he has to come inside. He is definitely a little boy now. We have left the baby in the past. That makes me a little sad, but excited to see the new things he is learning.
He is working on his trick shot for the All Star Dunk Contest.
A rare family picture.

Here are his 18 month old stats:
weight: 27 pounds and 1 ounce
length: 34 inches
size clothes: 24 months or 2T
foot size: 7 in sandals and 8 in tennis shoes
teeth: 18

Favorite things to do...
Play on his new slide (thank you Grandma and Grandpa Fildes).

Hunt for Easter eggs.

Build with his new legos.
The Easter Bunny knew just what Lucas wanted.

Sit in his chair.
Another present from the Easter Bunny!

Swim in the spa while we are patiently waiting for the pool to warm up.
Play in the sandbox at Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's house!

Least favorite things to do...
Get shots!
Go inside when he wants to be outside.

Get a haircut.
Trying to be patient for the pool to warm up.

Favorite Tricks...
Going down the slide all by himself.
He tries to hop like a bunny! It is so cute!
Kick a soccer ball.
Squirt his water guns... The problem is that he tends to squirt himself in the face. He laughs every time!

I know... I need to teach him about gun safety.

Least Favorite Foods...
oranges
jell.o (he doesn't like the texture)

Favorite Words...
hop
EIEIO...

Favorite Foods...
mashed potatoes
chocolate goldfish crackers
syrup (thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Fildes)

Here are some pictures from the Easter adventure.
The set up. Colored cups, ready for eggs.
Of course we did this outside to minimize the mess.
Did I say minimize the mess?
Look at his arm!
Good think we stripped him down to his diaper and took the cover off of his chair.

Again, we really did try to minimize the mess.
But our Little Lucas is just MESSY.
The loot from the Easter Bunny!
This is his other Easter basket from his Grandma and Grandpa Johnson.
And if his basket was good enough... He tried to steal from his cousin Morgan.
Look at his innocent face... But the truth is he isn't so innocent.
Happy Easter Everyone!
