Happy Halloween!

A year ago at this time, our little Lucas was barely a week old. Now he is running around the house, getting into everything (including Husker's water bowl), and making life so much more interesting!

But... This Halloween Lucas was ready to celebrate and have a good time. Well, maybe he isn't ready, but we were. Looking back over the past three weekends and all of the stuff we did to prepare for this holiday, it is crazy. We went to Apple Annie's, we went to the Reid Park Zoo's Howl-O-Ween, when to Apple Annie's again with Grandma and Grandpa Fildes, carved pumpkins and went trick-or-treating. You would think we are OBSESSED with this holiday. We ARE. I can't help it. My birthday is the day after Halloween, fall is my favorite season and it is just a fun day!

We celebrated my 31st birthday by carving pumpkins with all of the family.
My parents, Matt's parents, Lori, David and Morgan.
Can you tell that Lucas wants to hold the pumpkin SOOO bad?
The Dad's are hard at work carving the pumpkins.
Did you ever think that this would be what Matt and David would be doing five years ago on a Friday night?
The finished product. Not bad.
Now for the looking back...
This is Lucas on Halloween last year.
Look how little he was.
So tiny he fit into the candy basket.
Now he is too big to fit in it.
Trust me... we tried.
It didn't happen.
"What is this stuff?"
"Can I eat it?"
He looks so innocent.
My little Superman!
Lucas is flying.
Can't you tell.
So much fun riding on Dad's shoulders.
Best day ever!
Morgan is dressed like Fancy Nancy.
The kids had a great time trick-or-treating together.
We only stopped at a few houses, but it was still fun.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
