Crawling Machine!

So as you all know, Lucas has been crawling for a little over a week now. He started to discover it while we were in New York. He has been so close for several weeks, but just wasn't sure to take the next step. He had perfected crawling backward. It was too cute. He would push himself backward with his arms. Now he has mastered crawling forward.

When we returned home and he saw his toys, he took off like a bandit. He was so excited to see HIS toys, he couldn't hold back. We were so excited! Since he has gotten the hang of it, he is ALL OVER the place. At first, he would just crawl on the carpet. Once he got to the tile in the kitchen, he would freeze. But that didn't last. Just this morning, he was following me all over the house. He favorite thing to crawl after is his basketball. He loves to "race" Husker to it. It is too funny.

Here is a video (by demand of several family members) of Lucas crawling. He is a little grumpy during the video. Then you will have to just watch for yourself to see how quickly his mood changes once he sees the video camera.
