Week 7 & 8

Sorry we missed updating you all in the progress of the "little one," but we went to Colorado to visit my family. First, I will let you know how the "little one" is growing. We are now in week 8 and it is the size of a raspberry. This week its little toes and fingers are starting to wiggle. Its little brain is forming and the heart has now formed 4 chambers and is beating twice as fast as mine. This Thursday we go to our first appointment. We will be sure to update you on what we hear at the appointment. Also, if we are lucky enough to get a picture we will upload it for all of you to see!

As for our trip to Colorado, we had a great time. It was nice to see my family. The "little one" didn't like the take off on the plane ride. It made me quite woozy, but a little ginger ale and all is better.

In Colorado, we went to school to volunteer and hang out with my nieces, Rylie & Piper. Also, the baby had its first trip to the Denver Zoo. Hopefully, the next time we go, the baby will actually get to see the animals! Also, Matt & I were able to perfect our Wii Fit skills. Matt is currently holding the slalom ski record and I still cannot beat Rylie's ski jump record of 349. I am a close second at 348. She is unbeatable! In other words, we had a blast visiting my family!

We will be sure to keep you updated on the "little one" and we will let you all know how our first appointment goes.
