My favorite time of year is quickly approaching! Fall! It is truly my favorite season. The weather is cool, the leaves on the trees are changing color and you can play outside. Unfortunately living in Arizona doesn't really lend naturally to the fall season, especially with the cooler weather and leaves changing color. That is unless you take a trip to the mountains.
So we have made it a family tradition to start the fall season off right by going on a Family Picnic for Labor Day! Many of you know, picnics and the mountains are my two favorite things to do. Now they are even more special that I can share those two things with my family. Luckily my husband so nicely agrees to take us all on a picnic which is not his favorite thing to do. He says he doesn't mind the picnic and the mountains, it is just the drive that he doesn't enjoy.
As we were driving up the mountain, you could see a few trees starting to change color and it was even drizzling outside. This meant it was going to be a perfect, cool day to spend with the family outside. We packed Lucas' baseball bat and all the equipment to match. Also, we packed bubbles for Macie. We ate a little lunch and then it was time to play and explore. Both kids had a great time. Maybe even more fun that their Mommy! Maybe...
