Holidays have become a lot more fun... And Easter was no exception. Lucas is at the perfect age to really get it and was so excited for the Easter Bunny to arrive. Trust me. We have been taking pictures with my phone at Tar.get of the things he would like the Easter Bunny to bring him. Silly guy! So we had many adventures this Easter.
It all began with a little egg dying. Lucas had a great time mixing the water, vinegar and dye pellets. He was a little chemist. He loved telling us which color was in each cup as it began to form. He couldn't wait to get started dying the eggs. He was pretty good at it, if I do say so myself. There was only one casualty in the whole batch and that was because of Macie. Macie really got into dying the eggs. She was covered from head-to-toe in dye. Matt said that if CPS dropped by they would have thought we had beaten her because she had dye all over her body that it looked like bruises. It was still a lot of fun.

The Easter Bunny was good to the kids. They were a little spoiled. And yes... Lucas did get a few things that he took pictures of.

| Who doesn't love popping some bubbles on Easter? |
After lunch and a nap (Macie), we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's house for some more Easter fun. Of course, they were spoiled again with more treasures. We had a great time playing a little backyard golf, hunting for more Easter eggs, popping bubbles and eating a great dinner. I love the memories that we are creating for Lucas and Macie. These are the moments that I hope they remember and pass along to their families.
