* Macie has been diagnosed with asthma, just like her brother. Fortunately she has a wonderful pulmonologist and we have an action plan. She is doing a lot better and is just on a preventative dose with her inhaler. This makes us very happy. Not a HUGE fan of the nebulizer and prednisone.
* Macie still isn't crawling independently. She will crawl forward if we put our hand behind her feet and she pushes off. She is an expert at crawling around in a circle. The will go around and around.
* Our biggest highlight this month is she got her ears pierced. She did such a great job. She only cried for maybe 30 seconds. A lot less than when she gets shots at the doctors.
* Also, she has had her first taste of ice cream. Oh yes. Her Daddy is a sucker and gave her a little ice cream. I guess that is one way to celebrate turning 7 months!

| She is so adorable! |
* Another highlight is that we are now in the full swing of football season and open gyms for basketball. So we have been to 2 football games and to a couple of open gyms. She is such a great little trooper for both. She watches a little bit of football and usually falls asleep in the Er.go baby carrier. With basketball she has such wide opened eyes and is fascinated. I can't wait for basketball season to start. She is going to love it!

Sleep:
* Macie is on a pretty good schedule with her sleeping. It was a little rocky while she was sick, but she is doing better now.
* She takes about a 30-40 minute nap in the morning, about a 1-2 hour nap in the afternoon and goes to bed between 7:30 and 8:00. Then she does sleep through the night until around 5:30 or 6 am. I do wish she would sleep in. Not until 9, but maybe 7. Hopefully it will come... Soon!

Eats:
* Macie is in love with her baby food. She is now eating all stage 2 foods. The girl doesn't miss a meal.
* Also, we have given her some Cheerios. She is not quite sure what to make of those yet. She gets them stuck on her lip, but isn't sure what to do next. Luckily her brother comes by and eats them for her.
* She is finally like the Ger.ber puffs. Her brother likes those as well. I think Lucas eats more of them than she does.
* Macie is still drinking her sensitive formula. She drinks anywhere from 4-7 ounces. She eats 4 ounces with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then she has a 7 ounce bottle before bed.
Likes:
* Macie still loves to be outside. We spend most of our evenings outside. Also, we took a trip to Mt. Lemon for Labor Day and she was so happy. She loves the mountains like her mommy!
* She enjoys playing with her toys. Although her brother isn't so sure about sharing toys, even though they are baby toys. Silly guy!
* Girl is obsessed with glow sticks. Lucas plays with them while in the tub during bath time. If she gets it taken away from her, she cries in hysterics. Once you hand it back to her, all is well. She falls asleep holding it. Obsessed!
Dislikes:
* Macie is pretty easy going. Although she does have her moments. They usually involve when brother isn't interacting with her or when she is tired or hungry. Typical moments. But she can go straight from being smily and laughing to crying in an instant. A little bit like her mommy's temper. 0-60 in an instant.
