The Happiest Place on Earth: Disneyland Comes to an End!

Finally and unfortunately our Disneyland vacation came to an end. On our last day, we had Magic Morning passes so we decided to use them at Disneyland. That way we could get on some rides that we hadn't been on before because the lines were a little long the two days before.

We went on a few rides including Peter Pan, Pirates, but we had to have one last ride on Small World. Seriously you should hear Macie sing Small World. It is priceless!

Lucas took me on the Buzz Lightyear ride. He is so fun to go on rides with. He truly enjoys them!

After a few rides, I wanted Macie to meet Minne. Also known as "Mimmie" to Macie. She was so excited to meet her. She gave her a big hug.

After spending the morning at Disneyland, we headed back over to California Adventures to meet some characters and see the Disney Jr. show. Unfortunately, when we went to meet Sully, he wasn't there. They said he was too busy at Monsters Inc to come. But I have a theory that Sully may have partied a little too hard the night before. 

But we did get the inside scoop on when and where to meet Sofia. We have met every other character, but we had failed to meet a princess. Poor girl! So we headed over to the meeting place, but Lucas decided he didn't want to meet a princess, but would rather go on Radiator Racers for the third time. Matt took him while Mom and I waited for Sofia. We were the first ones in line. I am so glad we let Macie meet a princess. She really enjoyed it!

After we met Sofia, Mom, Macie and I headed into the Disney Jr show. I wasn't sure how Macie would like the show. Originally we were going to the show for Lucas, but he was still in line with Matt for Radiator Racers. Macie did enjoy the show, but she really enjoyed after each little segment something falling from the ceiling: bubbles, gold doubloons, fake snow. She thought that was a riot.

After the show we stopped for some dinner. Then when the boys headed for Toy Story Mania, we took Macie to see the Pixar Play Parade. She enjoyed seeing all of the characters.

Then we went on a few more rides including Goofy's Sky School, which Lucas LOVED! He had a great time on the roller coaster. He would have gone on that ride multiple times if we let him.

After those rides, my parents took Macie back to the hotel to put her to bed while we stayed late at the park. The hope was to stay and watch the World of Color. So while we were waiting for the show, we decided to hit Lucas' two favorite rides at the park: Tow Mater and Toy Story Mania.

I am so glad we went on the trip. We had a blast and we can't wait to go back again... We just need to wait until Macie is tall enough to go on some rides. I am also very thankful that my parents joined us on the trip. They were a huge help and made the trip even more memorable for Lucas and Macie.

Having that much fun is hard work!

But definitely the Happiest Place on Earth!
